Looking for a Karate Class for Son Who Is 5 - Afton,MN

Our kids go to Jack Hunt's Karate Club in Stillwater/Oak Park Heights. It is in the same building as the DMV, Fresh Fields, and that new mongolian bbq. They have a starter program for $49.95 you get 3 months worth of lessons (usually no-belt, white belt, receiving gold belt), and the uniform. However, I don't think Mr. Hunt starts kids until they are 6 years old. You would have to call or stop by and ask him or Jill (his wife). Mr. Hunt is wonderful with kids and we have been with his program for 3 years now. Just so you know, if your kid(s) decide to continue, it can get pretty expensive, but all places are, not just Mr. Hunt's classes. If you cannot find the phone number, please let me know.

My boys go to Young Taekwondo School in Woodbury. We absolutely love this school. He offers a 5 and under class, and also a ages 6-12 class for kids. My boys are in the 6-12 class, it is $70 per month and they can attend 4 days per week if they want to! (M/W/F/Sat). Mr. Young is wonderful, he really gives the kids 1:1 attention and teaches them respect and discipline along with the taekwondo skills.

The Edge Marital Arts has classes for Ages 4 to 6 years olds and then from 7 ot 12 year olds as well as family classes.

The database didn't have the business listed, so i was unable to give an outright referral -- but my daughter takes Aikido in Hudson, must be five to start and it is awesome. The instructor is incredible and there are no contracts or testing fees. It's a Midwest Center for Movement.
