Hi. I'm looking for a new OB GYN in the Cary/Crystal Lake area. If anyone has one they'd recommend, I'd appreciate it.
Thanks!

I love woman to Woman they re located in Crystal lake on Congress Parkway ###-###-#### I see Dr. Gandi but they are all good.
Woman to Woman in Crystal Lake. The practice consists of 4 female docs. They are all wonderful. Different personalities to suit your preference.
If you're willing to go to Lake In The Hills, Dr. Susan Howey is great. She has her own practice as an individual doctor, but I was never unable to see her - she truly enjoys it and is there for her patients.
I really like Dr. Karney, Dr. Zaino, and Dr. Favia in Crystal Lake. They are part of the Mercy Health system. They take most insurance and are very good. The wait time is reasonable and they are friendly with a nice office staff. Good Luck!
I loved my ob/gyn. Novas, Dohr, Coll & Assoicates in Barrington. On rte 14 and rte 59. I believe their web site is www.novasassociates.com
They are a group of women who are very dedicated to making you feel completly comfortable during your pregnancy. I always reccomend them!
I have seen Dr. Dohr in Barrington. She is in a practice with 4 other women....love the office. Highly recommend it!
Recently due to insurance change...I have seen Dr. Pines in Crystal Lake. He is in a practice with Dr. Smith and another lady. The two men are grampaish and very caring and nice.
If you are willing to go to Lake Barrington (off of Rte 14 on Pepper Road) you can call Lake Barrington Women's Health at ###-###-####. There are two doctors there (Dr. Meyer and Dr. Crandall) and they have a Nurse Practioner - Carolyn.
Everyone here at my office goes there and we have been more than happy with them. Dr. Meyer helped me through two m/c's and was able to deliver both of my sons. He's not the warmest guy around, but he's well respected and a great doctor. Dr. Crandall is a great doctor, too but is very laid back and friendly.
The women at the office (clerical and nurses) are just great. One even stopped in to see me the day I had my second son (I was sent from my weekly appointment to the hospital to deliver that day, so she knew I was there.)
If you do call them, feel free to tell them that T. sent you.
OH, they have an office in Algonquin, too. But, I've never been to that location.
Here is a link to my OB/Gyn. THEY are awesome!
I have been seen by all of them and they delivered 2 of my babies. They also did a proceedure like tying tubes but much less invasive called Essure.
These Dr's are teaching Doctor's (don't worry...not while you are there) and they pride themselves in being very up on new infomation. They are always furthering their education.
Good luck~!
The group in Barrington(Novas)is excellent! Dr. Rebecca Keith delivered my son 2 yrs ago. I cannot rave enough about the office staff and the Dr.'s. Such wonderful service they provide. They really make you feel like you are important.. not just another pregnant woman. I highly recommend them. Dr. Novas is the only one who I felt didn't have the greatest personality.. but all of them are so nice and take time w/you. Plus they are so flexible with getting you in. As soon as you have the slightest concern about the well being of the baby, they get you in that day and hook you up to the fetal monitor.
Good luck!
Woman to Woman is in Crystal Lake near Health Bridge and the post office. It is an all woman practice. They use Good Shepard Hospital as their base hospital. I have gone to them for 8.5 years and they delivered two of my three babies. They are friendly but not overly so (if you know what I mean). If your appt. is at 2:00 then you get in at 2:00 or sooner there after.
When I first moved out here 9 years ago, I went to an OB/GYN in LITH. I was in the waiting room for 2 hours and that happened to me each of the 3 times I went. I couldn't believe it!
Woman to Woman is clean, new, friendly and on time!
