Looking for a Good Pediatrician in the Nashua Area

Hi moms, I am looking for a good female pediatrician in the Nashua area. Our family practitioner moved and we haven't been able to find someone equal to her. We go to a family practice and the kids were simply moved to the doctor who came to replace her. But I'm not comfortable with a male doctor handling my two daughters' care. We're looking for someone whose philosophy about medicine is to use as less as possible and only when no alternative works. We want someone who listens and takes a personal interest in the family. A family practitioner would work very well for us so I could go to her too, as I haven't been able to find a suitable PCP for myself either. Thanks for your input everybody!!

So What Happened?

Thanks to everyone who responded - I have heard of Dr. Robey and Dr. Das and I will certainly call and talk to each office to try and understand their philosophy. Again, I am grateful for your responses. Thank you!

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Glidden, Dr Kaupp, and Dr Monahan of Partners In Pediatrics in Nashua. Dr. Glidden is our primary pediatrician but all three woman have been wonderful with our children. I strongly urge you to consider them!

We just visited Dr. Glidden last week for checkups for our two boys and she spent over an hour and a half with us answering questions and dispensing much needed advice. Most of our concerns with our son Aidan (2) are behavioral and she offered many suggestions that we have implemented and are seeing the benefits of. Our son Noah has been suffering with Acid Reflux since he was born 4 months ago and Dr. Glidden has always been understanding and supportive. Unfortunately she wasn't able to find a solution but she did recommend the specialist that we are now seeing and we have just started to see improvements in Noah's condition.

Our pedi is Dr. Ann Dobbins with Nashua Pediatrics. Their office is located on Kinsley street, across the street and a little ways up from St. Joseph's hospital. We really like her. She is definately a "less is better" kind of person. She is old-school in a good way. My husband felt the same way about having a female, and we actually tried a couple before we found her. Good Luck!!

Hi. I use Dr. Carol Robey at Merrimack Valley Pediatrics ###-###-####). I used to see her when I was young and feel completely comfortable with her and believe that she wouldn't recommend something unless she truly thought it necessary. Good luck!

Dr Andita Das at 9 Tyler St is great. She takes the time to listen to your concerns. You do not feel like she is in a hurry. She is very responsive and helpful with information.

We use Dr Linda Williams. She works out of Foundation Pediatrics on Tyler St. She is great we have 3 children (2 sons and a daughter) My oldest had a ton of ear infections and eventually had to have tubes. My middle son had severe asthma as an infant (he seems to have grown out of it, knock on wood) He was hospitalized at least 4 times and she was there everytime we needed her. I have always gotten a same day appointment when needed. Anytime I hear a parent looking for a pediatrician I always recommend her.

Good Luck,
