I am looking for a Mom's Day Out program for my 3 year old. She is my youngest (of 4) and still wants to be the baby. She needs some time with other kids (than the 3 she lives with) and become more independant. :) She went to a Mom's Day Out last year, but it got pretty expensive. I was paying for more days off (from the school being closed) than her actually being there. Plus now that I'm working, it is a bit out of the way for her to return to her old school. We live in Hickory Creek, but I work in Denton. :) Thanks!
Most of the MDO programs fill up before the summer begins. However, it's worth a call to see if there are any openings:
Footprints Preschool in Lake Dallas (in Lake Dallas United Methodist church on Hundley Drive)
Southmont Baptist Church in Denton
Trinity United Methodist Church in Denton
Primrose School may also offer a part-time program.

Check out Sonshine at the Church of Christ on Carlisle St in Lake Dallas. They are very reasonable with their prices, small classes, and really great teachers. My daughter went there last year and loved it! (she's starting Kindergarten this year). I've had friends that moved their kids from Footprints to Sonshine and were very happy with the change. Their school days are Tues/Thurs with Wed being a bonus day if you want it.
Another one to look into is Kid's Day Out at First Baptist of Corinth. They are more expensive, but classes are on Tues/Thurs (less likely to hit on holidays), and I personally know many of the teachers there, and they are dedicated moms & teachers.

I just registered my 3 year old (baby of our family too) daughter at The Church of Corinth's MDO program. It was very fairly priced in MHO. They had openings a week ago when we added my daughter. HTH
p.s We have been going to church there as well for about 3-4 months and I feel very good about thier children's programs. For what that's worth to you.....

I would like to find a Mom's Day Out program in this area also. I have a 14 month old daughter and a 4 month old son. My daughter loves other kids (the only other kids she gets to be around is if we go out shopping) and I would like to get her more involved. If anyone hears of anything please email me!
