HI Mamas,

When my son was a year old I bought him a sock "zebra" from CostPlus. I did not realize that this would become his very favorite toy which he would adore forever! By the time I realized how he loved it Costplus discontinued them! He is now 4 and a half and his zebra is in sad shape. So... this is a long shot, but does there happen to be anyone out there that has one of these and would be willing to sell or donate it to a kiddo who would love it until college?? (lol, I hope he'll give it up by then...)

Thanks!

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

Well, I found one on ebay but it wasn't the zebra it was a bear... and I have found other zebras that are similar looking, but are only stuffed with soft stuff, whereas the zebra I am looking for has (had) those small plastic pellets at the ends of the legs and tail. Something about the feel of that that is comforting too... Ah well. I will keep looking! Thank you all for your suggestions!!

J.,
I can't help you out with the zebra specifically, but my son had (has) a GUND Alphabuggy that he cannot live without. After O. scare when we thought it was lost, I searched ebay and BINGO--located a new O.. Look on the tags for any identifying information you can find and google it.
Beware, my son now refers to them as "old bug" and "new bug" and never really accepted the "replacement" bug as a replacement! Now he wants BOTH in his bed every night! :-)

Do you know how to do a google image search? Try and find it that way-- I betcha there has to be another out there somewhere!!! I figured my son might fall in love with his frog blanky so I bought 2--- but I made the mistake of actually giving him both of them-- so now he has to sleep with both!

I have a brand new Elephant that has blue & gray stripes from CostPlus. I'm not sure if it's the same type of fabric but I would be willing to part with it as my son doesn't have any sort of attachment to it. Do you have a picture of the one you have so I can compare if it's similar fabric?

Try Ebay...my daughter lost her "Pink B" blanket at a hotel and I was able to find the same one on Ebay....then as soon as I got it, the hotel found hers and sent it to us :))

Check e-bay. We had the same issue with a Kohl's Cares toy, and were able to get a replacement from e-bay.
