Make sure you set up your printer to their exact settings for using their chart. Several of my friends tall 4 year olds are in 12's so it's possible. We just ordered the Mary Jane's and they fit exactly like the chart said they would.
I've bought my kids lots of shoes from Lands End in the past, but they are usually too big! I just did their size chart on my daughter, and by it, I should buy her a size 12. Her current shoes are 9s! And they aren't too small. I have no clue what size to order. My daughter will be 4 in March, and she is very tall, 90%.
Do Land ends shoes run big, little?

Go with her usual size. I also tried using their chart and it was very inaccurate. I've purchased many of their shoes now and do fine going with our kids' current sizes.
9 1/2 or a 10. If you want them for right now 9 or 9 1/2. If you want them
for later, 10.
I don't know about Land's End shoes but I do know about those online "shoe sizers" web pages put up for you to print up and use. They are so innaccurate! I highly recommend buying a shoe sizer from One Step Ahead http://www.onestepahead.com/catalog/product.jsp?productId...
I have never had a problem buying shoes after using this to size my kids' feet. I've been using it for all 3 of mine since I found it some time shortly after my son was born. It's not very expensive and so totally worth it!
I recently got a pair of mary janes from landsend for my 6 year old. She wears a 12, I bought a 12, and they are perfect.
My daughter wears one size bigger in Lands End.
The ones I have bought I got the size I would buy my kids in the store and they fit pretty well--maybe a little big but not more than half a size. Read the reviews for the specific shoe and you can see if they run really off in sizing.
