Can anyone recommend a good preschool in the Lake Oswego area? We are moving to the area & I understand that registration is going on now at many places. Salem & Sonshine Express were recommended to me. The only problem is that they can only take my 3 & 4 yr old on different days. That is fine, but ideally I would love to have them go on the same days if possible. Any thoughts on these 2 programs or any others would be greatly appreciated!

I have heard nothing but good things about Sonshine Express. If you are looking for 3 and 4 classes the same day though, Christ Church Episcopal Preschool is M/W/F for 3s and 4s. It's off of Country Club Dr., near dowtown LO.

I live in Lake Oswego and I am currently sending my 3yr old daughter to Kings Kids Christian School (KKCS) which is a preschool in the Our Savior's Lutheran Church here in town. My son went there for 2 years as well until he started kindergarten this year. We've been really pleased with everything. If you don't mind a religious setting, it's a good choice. Another place I hear that's great is called Community Arts Preschool which is located in the Lakewood Center For The Arts. Lastly, I have a neighbor who sends her 3yr old girl and 5yr old boy to the preschool that is part of the Bethlehem Church and speaks highly of their program. Lastly, the Lake Oswego Mom's Club is hosting a preschool forum this Wednesday night where preschools in the area will have a representative present to hand out info and answer any questions. I'm planning on attending and could pick up some info for you if you'd like. -K.

Hi A., S. here again. My son went to Sunrise Montisori - LOVED it. Not sure how much time you're looking for. Living Savior Lutheran Church in Tualatin is also great, couple hours a couple times a week. Tigard Co-op is good too, have several friends who have kids there. Not sure if you're able to do a co-op though with young ones. Hope this helps. Sunrise is in Tualatin.

I'm sure you already know this, but Lake Oswego & West Linn are having a preschool "open house" this Wednesday night. My friend is attending, but unfortunately I don't know any of the details. I'm sure you could find out more info on the city of Lake Oswego's website. Good luck!
I'm not too familiar with Lake Oswego, but our church is opening a brand new pre-school in September. Our Redeemer is just west of Washington Square off Scholls Ferry (13401 SW Benish, Tigard) and the open house is Thursday night from 4-8pm, Jan 17th. Phone ####-###-####
3's & 4's are different days because of the different needs for the different ages...
