What about baking cup cakes and letting them decorate them at the party. Take the icing and candy hearts, sprinkles, etc. for them to put on the cup cakes. Then they can eat them as a snack.

Read a story to them and maybe play a game based from the book you read.

Pin the tail on the donkey is always a good staple.

Potato stamp valentine cards? DS and I made them for his classmates last year (we were unable to find any that were not corporate character based).

Kindergartners have short attention spans so be sure to plan for several games/activities. If you don't get to them all, leave the stuff for the teacher. She will appreciate having a fun activity for the next rainy day.

I like the games/activities listed so far. If you do cupcakes, be sure to tell them to stick a candy heart inside the cupcake before they frost it. It will be fun for them to "find" it when they eat their cupcake. Also, have another individual activity planned after the cupcake-decorating. Then you don't have to worry about some taking a long time to decorate and others finishing quickly.
