Hi, S.! It looks like you received several great responses to your question. I, too, have good news for you regarding locating a good kids' dentist. A couple of weeks ago, my 3 and 1/2 year old grandson said he had a toothache. We were kind of concerned about his anticipated behavior in a dentist's office (he had never been before). He has a normal child's anxiety about doctors and is VERY active. I called my dentist's office and asked about getting care for my grandson and could they recommend a dentist who works with children. They recommended their own Dr. Ellingson (Synergistic Dental Arts-Brown Rd & Lindsay), 2855 E Brown Rd, Mesa, AZ 85213, phone ###-###-####. My daughter took my grandson in for an appointment and, believe it or not, he did superbly well! We were astonished! Dr. Ellingson has two young children of his own and was able to put my grandson at great ease. He called his dental equipment "Mr. Bumpy" (that may have been the drill) and other funny names. My grandson did need a whiff of "laughing gas" once, my daughter said. Dr. Ellingson filled his little tooth and was done pretty quickly. He was even smiling after his appointment when they visited me at my house.
My family has been going to this practice since 1992. It is very clean and neat, and the staff is outstanding.
If you haven't found a dentist, please give this office a call. "Annette," in Accounting will be happy to discuss costs with you.
