I'm moving in April and we're moving to where my husband grew up.. the whole (tiny) town is so excited as are we and we're throwing a party when we get settled in (maybe like a few weeks after we get there before the busy season kicks in).. I'm basically planning it because I love to host and throw parties so I've started planning it now while I have free time before the big move... The theme I'm going with is a mustache party LOL, so far I'm going to have fake stick-on mustaches for everyone to wear, horse d'oeuvre picks that have little mustaches on them, mustache cookie cutters, a mustache sandwich cutter that takes a sandwich and cuts it into 3 staches and me and my SIL's are making a shirts that say "Keep Calm & Stache On" lol.. I'm trying to think of any other ways I can incorporate the mustache theme.. I'm making a sign that says "I mustache you a question" I want to do a banner with funny names for mustaches.. Like "Lip Tickler"...
So my ? is, is there any other cool things you can think of that I can add to my list as well as any funny names for mustaches.. I'm having trouble remembering any..
And would you come to a mustache party? LOL
all of my mustache references are dirty so I'll keep them to myself=) It sounds fun!
I have seen a lot of mustache parties and so far, every one has been awesome.
Have you seen these mustache cupcakes? Adorable... and all you need is to cut a piece of felt or buy the premade little mustaches that are all over now.

We had a mustache party a few months ago! It was a blasty blast. We required facial hair to be worn by every guest, we had some friends who naturally just shaved theirs in funny ways. We had a contest and door prizes. Funny thing is that my husband won and I was runner up! So we shared all the prizes with the guests ( chocolate and whiskey )
I like your ideas. You might also try " pin the stache on Burt Reynolds". Or Charlie Chaplin, or hulk hogan ( whoever you want ) just print a picture and buy lots of extra mustaches.
Our turn out was shocking, our friends really wanted something different . We are planning a "saved by the bell " party and " bum" party soon.

Some washable ink and paint mustaches on fingers (all different styles)
A sign with a picture of a wax and a big red "X" on the entrance (or any other hair remover thing).
A picture of Frida Kahlo (or my picture when I was 10, lol)
A game of "who's mustache is this" make your own copies and cut.
