I'm sitting here swapping back and forth between Mamapedia and Pogo...which got me to thinking, do any of you mamas play games on Pogo?
I have loved games since I was very young...of ALL types. So, my favorites...
Video games...Zelda.
Board games....Life.
Card games...Canasta.
Word games...oh, I like them all. Hard to say.
Sport...to play, soccer, croquet, or bocce ball...to watch, football or gymnastics.
Gym games (remember those?)...we had one where it was sort of like dodge ball but you won by knocking over the other teams two bowling pins as well as eliminating players. I also really liked that huge parachute, although I guess that wasn't really a game.
What games do you love?
Laurie...totally agree with you on slots and bingo. ;) I like games where I have to do something besides push a button!!! Love Pogo, though...totally worth my six bucks and month to geek out on games and earn pointless "badges". ;)
Manda...I just bought Catan for my Kindle, and I really enjoy it...I would love to buy the actual board game, but I have a feeling I wouldn't be able to find someone to play it with me! Kind of like Risk...I love it, everyone else hates it. The best I can get is to let my toddler sort out the little men. ;)
I don't like to play games very much. I'd really rather read or watch movies. I wouldn't say I love the following games, but they are the games I like:
Video games: Mario Brother (original Atari and arcade version), Tetris
Board game: Yahtzee
Card game: Uno
Sport: to play, bowling...to watch, baseball
Gym games: parachute games

Word games...tie between Scatagories and Catch Phrase
Sport...to play-volleyball/softball...to watch...hockey & football
Gym games...capture the flag, Chicago baseball and snookie dodgeball (1 team on each side of the gym, can't cross the center line)
My favorite board games are Scattergories, Apples to Apples and Blockus.
I have been on Pogo for at least 12 years. I love the word games, and hidden objects. On Pogo.. I hate slots.. I hate bingo.. Just so slow and boring..

Clue, Monopoly. Scrabble, Trivia games, apples to apples, Boggle, I know there are a ton more.
Jigsaw Puzzles - I used to be the stationary buyer at a large store and I LOVED buying puzzles for the store.

Bananagrams - Always in our car
Trivia cards and books, - Always in our car.
Mazes
My ipad, words with friends, Candy Crush, Clue, Pogo games.
At family reunions Volleyball is huge, Softball..
Bocce Ball is always in our car.
I am like Sherri, I am not a big game person. Games always went badly when I was a kid, I had a brother who had some rage issues and would chuck the board game across the room if he was not winning, also married to a video game addict. Those combined have turned me off games a bit!
That said, I really enjoy the dance games for Kinect and Wi, I also have Zumba Rush. They are fun both as exercise and as a game. I enjoy the old school Mario Brothers or Tetris. My son has been teaching me how to play Halo and while I love spending time with him, I hate hate hate playing that game. I think I would rather look at a wall than play that game ;)
Board games: No, no and no. First year of marriage we lived in a very tiny town with nothing to do, all we did was play monopoly. I hate that game. Also, have you ever played "the Farming Game"? Most boring game everrrrrrrrrr!
Card games: Phase 10 or Pit
Word Games: Scrabble/words with friends
Sport: nooooo! Again, rather stare at a wall ;)
Gym games: I have to second the parachute games. Man I wish we had a parachute to play in now!!
Video games aren't so much my thing but I do like to play Just Dance and Skylanders with my daughter.
Card games I love SkipBo, Euchre, Spades, Hearts.
Board games I like Stratego, Trivial Pursuit, Scategories, and old school Pig Mania.
I love scrabble.
I'll play any sport but I'm passionate about softball and disc golf.
I only like to watch football. I will watch IU basketball only, go Hoosiers!
Gym games I loved Red Rover and Tetherball.
We like to play Apples to Apples (which is sort of a board game, but there's no board). That's a fun family game.
I'm a mean poker player; I love to play but don't get to do so nearly often enough.
As for word games, I am a crossword puzzle fanatic! And my youngest daughter and I like to play Sudoku together.
