JFF - Evil Baby Monitors

You know those baby monitors that we all know and trust? They are not as they seem. They are evil!

Ever wonder how your baby ALWAYS knows when you're having sex and wakes up right at that exact moment to cry for 'mama' or 'dada'? It's the baby monitors! I haven't figured out how, but the parent's monitor must send the baby's monitor some sort of signal which then sets off some sort alarm that wakes up baby. Evil... I know.

So am I the only one that has these evil baby monitors, or is my set just "special"?

Happy Wednesday! :)

What can I do next?

I have no monitor seeing as now my children are 8 and 5 however my 5 year old has the sixth sense regarding mommy and daddy time. It doesn't matter if we're just awake or we want to have fun he finds a way to interrupt. He can be in a deep slumber and yet he'll still manage to wake up and need one of us. Hopefully none of your children develop this sense. :)

Mine are 8 and 14. They know LONG after the baby monitors have been given away.

Dont have that problem but it does really creep me out when I hear other children and babies! I am like what is wrong with my son?? Then I realize it's not mine! I hate when that happens. I have actually had an older person's phone conversation come through clear as a bell on our baby monitor once. Weirds me out! I wonder who's listening to ours haha. :p

Mine does that, plus it also sometimes shows me some other baby's room and I freak out when I don't see my baby in the crib! I don't even know whose house it is showing, as I am pretty sure we are the only family on our block that has a baby in a crib!

i think your set is just special. or maybe you and Justin are just making a lot of noise and wake Oliver up?

my boys are now 9 & 12 - and we didn't have that problem. Nor did I have it with my daughter.

OMG.....you are so right....I always wonder why the little one starts moving around when I check the monitor - how does he know that I am up and looking at him :-)
