One time, I had external "itchy girl parts" after having sex with my husband, and when I went to the doctor, she told me that "itchy girl parts" could be anything, so it is always best to go see the doctor first so that way they can run tests to confirm exactly what it is. The sooner you go, the quicker you can get relief.

How funny! I call them "lady parts!" It's probably just irritation from not having any attention, but if you are worried then you should go to the doc.

Go to the doc before jumping to any conclusions. We as women do have to be smart to protect yourself though. I would use protection for awhile just be be safe. You could have a BV infection. It usually starts with irration, and days later you may notice a discharge or not. It could be anything really. If you haven't had sex inawhile you could just be extra sensitive. However, whatever it is remember that he has been gone for awhile, and don't let anyone else influence your reactions. Good Luck.

First things first go to the doctor. If he been gone for a long time it still can be your body acting up by not having sex for a while our bodys do , do that. and it doesn't sound like crabs, but he could of also brought home something from the fields that what they say over their but go to the doctor fast to be safe.

It could be an external yeast infection from all the recent attention that has happened in that area or something else. Be on the side of caution and head to the DR to get it looked at. If anything, you'll get that yest pill that will help it go away faster!

Um i hate to say this. But You need to go to the doctor. Soldiers unfortunately have a hard time not participating in extra curricular activities with other female soldiers and the local women.

Being assigned to Korea is considered a hardship tour and is also treated like a deployment. However when soldiers are deployed to places like Iraq and Afghanistan they tell them when debriefing them that they need to use protection for a little while when having sex even if they are married because neither one of you don't know what the other has been doing. And in this case, you husband has been gone a year and you can't keep track of what he's been doing the whole year when its a place he couldn't take his family with him.

I am a US Army veteran and also and Army spouse so I've seen both sides of the issue. Go get checked.

It may be bacterial which you'll have to go to the Dr. for anyway. Go to the doctor and then you'll know if your husband needs treatment too.

Ouch! This happened to my dad. He got body lice from a hotel bed. My mom slept in the same bed but under the covers, my dad slept on top of the comforter (he does that a lot, yuck). When they got home he was itchy and had to put topical cream all over per doctors recommendation. I'd make an appt to see the dr quick. Good luck!

Why mess with over the counter meds when you really don't know? And you end up at a doctors office anyway. How is your husband? Good luck....

As a Navy wife, my hubby is on his second year overseas unaccompianied, I would go to the doctor. It could be something normal, like soap or lube allergy. But it could be something he got over there. I know I would be scared of a lot of things if I were in your position. If you find out that you have some std then you have to deal with that plus knowing your husband did something he shouldn't have over there.

Go to an obgyn.

Did you shave earlier that day? If so, was it a fresh razor? If not maybe you irritated by the shave and then a little 'action'.

You can still have yeast even if you don't notice a discharge. It will make you sore, but not give you a rash.

I would let the Dr. take a look at it, just to make sure since you said you have never had one before, you may not know exactly what you are experencing.

Go see your gyno. It's probably best to see a professional rather than guess! Good luck.

I wouldnt jump to any conclusions here and think that your husband has been unfaithful. I was in the military as well and there are ALOT of good men in all the service branches. I sometimes expirence what you have when I havent had sex with my husband for a long period of time. Talk to the doctor, but it is probably just irritation.

I can relate! But, my husband hasn't just came back from Korea!
I tease my husband and tell him I must be allergic to him...after sex I seem to either get an UTI or have itching. I've tried the urinating immediately after sex, I've tried washing real well but ultimately I have the itching I would say 8 of 10 times. My urologist recently gave me an antibiotic to take following sex to keep the UTI's down, but it seems that the medicine may have caused me to have worse itching.. like you B. I don't have discharge, just itching for several days afterward. I've used a vinegar douche two mornings and that seemed to help some. I've also tried using an over the counter yeast medication to curb the itching.

So, I don't know what to tell you - I need advice too!

It does concern me that it sounds like you may be thinking he brought something back from Korea? Or maybe, it is just depending on how long it has been, the fact that no sex for a while made you more succeptable to an infection?
