It is great! I've had mine for 2 years now. It does all of those things. Dry's quick and cleans good! Just what I like:)Good luck!
I have been wanting to buy the Shark Steam Mop to clean my tiled kitchen and bathroom floors, but don't want to spend the almost $100.00 IF it does not work. Do you own one and what's your experience? Does it leave dirty streak marks? Does it dry quick? Does it really clean? Thanks.

Love mine... I have a housekeeper and it cuts down on the time she spends on the floor - sanitizes, dries fast. Bought one for my daughter who has 2 little ones because she kept borrowing mine, haha! Got one at Sam's -(cheaper there)and one at Bed Bath & Beyond.
I bought the shark steam mop and was very disappointed with it. Yes the floor does dry quickly, but you have to keep stopping and refilling the water resevoiur and the handle is very flimsy and broke. So i returned it. I bought mine a t target and they took it back no questions asked, so if you think it's for oyu buy it and try it out and if you don't like it take it back.
I got one about 1 month ago. I love it. I have tiled floors, and I was afraid it might stick to the grout, but it doesn't. It dries so incredibly fast and my floors look great. A friend bought it for me at Costco for $70. I think Sam's club had it for close to the same price. The first time I used it, my son got sick all over the floor, and it cleaned up even the grout beautifully!!! I hope this helps.
It is great! I borrowed one from my neighbor to see if this really works and it does! I have tile through out the house and it does not leave streaks and dries very fast. I just bought my very own. By the way, I have a 3 yr old that loves to leave messes on the floor!

I don't own one but my Aunt swears by hers. She was just praising it's virtues the other day lol! She's a neat freak so I'd place my bets on her oppinion
Not sure about the Shark one, but I have the Bissell steam mop and love it. Yes, it really does get the floors clean (and stearilized). And no, it doesn't really leave streaks. They only time I've experienced that is when my floor has been exceptionally dirty, after cleaning a large amount of floor, the pad is dirty, so it'll start streaking. I've got mostly ceramic tile floors all over the house with active kids and animals so there is a lot of tile to cover and a lot of dirt. The only downfall is it's a little time consuming to clean, because you need to go nice and slow to make sure you give the steam enough time to clean, but it's worth it to me because everything else I've done left my floors seeming still dirty.
This Bissell steam mop was either $50 or $70, can't remember but that was only about 5 months ago.
I bought the shark vacume and it was the worst purchase ever. They said it had great suction and it wouldn't even pick up a cheerio! I bought the Dyson- it is the best EVER!!

Both my Mom and I have this mop and we both love them! They heat up real quick and do a fabulous job on both tile and laminate floors. I know they have just come out with a new version - here's the one we both have - http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0015GPFW6?ie=UTF8&t...
We both highly recommend the mop!!

I have had mine for alittle over a year and I love it! I only wish I had the newer one (triangle head, mine is the rectangle). I use it everyday and I have never had issues with the handle. I usually only have to refill it with water once but if your whole house is tile it will take more. I got mine at Kohls when they had it on sale and I had one of their 30% off coupons. If you shop around you can get it pretty reasonably priced. You may want to invest in extra pads. I love it and would not go back to cleaning my floors with chemicals. Hope this helps!
Was concerned about using cleaners on the floor with a new baby as we got one about a year and love it!
Only negative is if you have a really big area you will be refilling a few times. We use about 4 pads per cleaning and they wash up great after. Love it!
It is a pain in the rear. I got the shark thinking this was the best thing to use to clean my floors since I have a new baby girl and it is worthless in my opinion. I felt like it was a lot of work and it did not clean well. I would just use vinegar and water on your floors, it is natural and works well with tile, no streaking.
I have the old shark and love it. I think the newer one is even better then the old one, because they now have interchangeable heads. They have a triangle, rectangle and larger rectangle, and they all come with the extra pads. It also has the attachment for rugs. It seems like a great deal. I have ceramic in my down stairs and wood lamanent in my upstairs. I love that it has no chemicals and it steralizes everything. It's a great product to invest in. I would buy it from the T.V. commerical you get a better deal.
Good Luck

Hi M.,
I have the Shark mop, but it did not cost me $100.00. It work to a point. It cleans pretty good, but if you have bad strains on your floors like cuff marks from the soles of your shoes, it doesnt work that good.
For lite cleaning it works pretty good.
It doesn't work good for grout especially if grout it really dirty.
Hope this helps. My shark is the triangle shape.
Good Luck,
G. H
Well, wish I could say I've used it..but I am in the cleaning biz and had a lady with a chihuaha that pee-d everywhere. She wanted it for that and to clean the grout (don't think it's supposed to do that) She said the same thing about pushing the dirt around and not cleaning very good. She seemed to think the wetjet was better than that steam mop. I'm not totally sure because she wouldn't let me use it. I heard that it works wonders on laminate.
I have the Bissell Steam Mop, which is very similar to the Shark mop. I love it! I hated regular mopping and I didn't like using the Swiffer Wetjet and always having to pay for refills so this was the perfect solution. As for the streaking, I've found that if you change the pad halfway thru your cleaning, that takes care of the streaking issue. I have a large amount of ceramic tile, 2 kids and 3 dogs, so my floors tend to be pretty dirty by the time I clean them. If you do go with the mop (I have friends who have the Shark mop and love it), invest in a couple extra pads. I have 4 for my mop and that is plenty. I don't think it does a great job on grout but nothing really does (unless you are scrubbing it or using a strong chemical!). Good luck with your purchase. Everyone I know who has purchased either the Bissell or Shark has been happy with them!
I have a cleaning business and we use it in all our homes. The best product and even though we clean houses I tell everyone you must get one. One thing..Buy the new version, it is is $120 at Bed Bath and Beyond but go on line and sign up for their emails and they will send you a 20% off coupon right away. It is much bigger, more pads and better space cleaning.:) Handle is sturdier too
Love It
I have one and like it. You have to move a bt slower than you think because you have to push down the handle while moving to make the steam come out. It does not leave streaks and you can tell a difference when you are done. Pad must be washed after each use and you can't throw it in the dryer, etc. Just read directions. You can find them on sale at Bed, Bath and Beyond every now and again and then use the 20% coupon as well. It does dry quick because it is so hot. Happy cleaning.
Have one and wouldn't live without it. The floor is dry within 2 seconds, maybe a little longer, but very qucikly. I have cats in my home and it picks up everything. It's a good investment you will love it.
I think that it works great! I got mine at Sams club for about $55 or so. I like it because you're not using chemicals which is obviously important when you have little ones running around on the floor. I only have laminate and tile in my house and it works good on both. It dries very quickly and I have not noticed any streaks. At one point in time I had a cleaning lady come out and she used it and praised it over and over and said that she was going to get one to use at her other clients homes. I find it easy to use as you push forward you push on the handle and the steam comes right on out and cleans and sanitizes your floors. I would search around for a good deal either at one of the warehouse places or online/TV or I've seen it at Bed Bath and Beyond and they have their 20 percent off or $10 off coupons that you can use with it. Good luck to you!
I have one and like it a lot! I would suggest 2 things...get the newer version which has a sock-like pad that goes on...and order from the t.v. and get the attachment that allows you to steam clean your carpets.
It doesn't leave any streaks..dries in about 2 minutes and I feel it really cleans and I worry less about my 1 1/2 old dropping things on the floor and then putting it in her mouth.
Love it, love it, love it. $70 at Sam's. Have had it almost a year with no problems. It is the rectangular head one, so I can't comment on the triangle head. I love that I do not have to stop every two minutes to wring a mop, or deal with a bucket of dirty water. I also love that you do not use any floor cleaner with it, which always left my tile sticky. The steam cleans and sanitizes, no streaks, no dirt, and dries quicker than any other mop. I don't have wood or laminate, so I am not sure about that, but I love it for my ceramic tile. One fill does my whole kitchen and dining room.
I am not sure if other posters are maybe not using it right, but it DOES clean my floor (the sticky pink juice spots and all) and does not streak on my tile. It actually absorbs the dirt into the pad instead of spreading it around on the floor like a traditional mop.
We have had for 2 yrs and love it!!! The newer model works even better (we hear). A toddler and two lg dogs and it works super on our floors!
Hi; I don't have the steam mop yet but plan to get one as soon as I can. I borrowed my friends and fell in love with it. I thought my tile floors were clean. I had scrubed them just before using the steam mop. I was shocked of out must dirt came out of the tile. The floor just shone afterward. I give it a thumbs up! I did not use it on carpet but my friend said it worked great on hers.
