Taking the kids to a movie this weekend, 3, 4 and 6-year-old. Is the movie "Storks" appropriate for youngsters? It looks like one of the only kid-friendly ones playing in the theaters right now so it's my first choice.

What can I do next?

I just saw it today. It is very kid friendly, but also very boring for adults! We went with five 9-year olds and three 6-year olds. The younger ones liked it, but the older ones thought it was just ok (my older one rated it a 4 out of 10).

There are a couple of scenes with wolves chasing the main characters that may be a little scary, but nothing bad ends up happening to anyone.

I can't imagine taking a 3 and a 4 year old to any movie - unless you are sure yours have the attention span, get a sitter and take the oldest!

It will be fine for them but will likely suck for you! :)

Storks is recommended for ages 6+, probably for understanding the plot. I think the main thing to ask yourself is if the younger two can sit still for almost 2 hours.

I took my kid to see Frozen when it was in the theater. He didn't really follow the plot but found it entertaining and was able to sit through.

We never had any problems with our little ones at movies or plays. They loved getting caught up in the experience. I think you could go online and search it. See if mom's sites say it's okay or not.

Or go to themoviespoiler.com and read the whole movie review.

i don't think any movie is okay for a 3 year old, not for the child's sake but for the other movie goers.
maybe your 3 year old isn't as wiggly as mine were.
