My husband and I are looking to join a gym so i was wondering if i could get pricing from current members at gyms around the 76248 (keller/N. Ft Worth) area. I would prefer one that has month to month membership and a place for the kids to be while you work out if possible. Also, any to avoid would be great too. Thank you in advance...
Most of the YMCAs have childcare while you work out plus they have different programs for children of all ages.
I go to Womacks and let me tell you thats a great place to go.. The people are great and they have many great prices for the 2 of you. I know they are offering no money down to join..
I highly recommend it. Very family oriented.

You've got to check out Keller Pointe. It's near the Kroger and Tom Thumb on 1709. They have a childcare area, a wonderful indoor and outdoor pool, excellent workout equipment and classes. Plus as a Keller resident, the annual dues are very reasonable.

I go to LA Fitness on 377 in Keller. I really like it, but...lately it has been really hard to get my son(3) into the kids club. I have been a member for over a year now. It is month to month which I like. However, the kids club has some problems. Sometimes I have to wait in line for 30 mins just to get him in. I take classes so it really makes me mad when I miss a class because they cant get my son in. I dont have as much trouble at 8 am as I do at 9:30 am so I guess it depends on when you want to go. Besides that I love it. It is VERY clean.

In Coppell we have an express fitness which is only 12 bucks a month, 5 bucks for childcare I think. I don't go there usually, but I have gone in the past and is probably one of the best gyms I've gone to. It's not a popularity contest if you know what I mean. They even gave my cousin a ride home one time when he left his car home and it started raining. Good luck!
