My son had acid reflux, but not colic or any allergies (breast fed only). I was determined to try to treat it w/o meds and was very successful by making sure that I nursed him positioned so he was practically sitting up (head way higher than stomach), smaller "meals" more frequently, I had him sleep in a swing with his head elevated, I even put a wedge under his changing pad. Basically, he was never completely flat on any surface for the first 3 months of his life. It's a little tricky to plan everything out, and you need to make sure she's safe however you're positioning her, but that reduces the mechanical likelyhood of reflex. I know how sad and frustrated it feels not to be able to take away your babies discomfort immediately! Keep in mind that the immature stomach valve that is the culprit for reflux usually matures at between 3-6 months. If you try a chiropractor, make sure they have LOTS of experience with infants before handing your baby over! Good luck!
