Several of you moms recommended a great cleaning service that we used when we lived in the city. Now we've moved to Brookfield and I am looking to you again for another recommendation. We need a very reasonable cleaning service, with honest employees, to clean our 3-floor house on a bi-weekly basis. The bi-weekly cleaning will be just the basic dust-sweep-mop all rooms and clean all bathrooms, but I will occasionally ask them to do special jobs such as cleaning cabinets, or cleaning under the kitchen appliances. Also, I have become very conscious of the chemicals that are used in most cleaning products, and have switched to more earth- (and child-) friendly products. I'd like a cleaning service who will either bring their own non-toxic cleaning products, or give me a break in price if they use mine. Is there a cleaning service out there that meets all of my criteria, or should I corner the market and start one myself? (Hee, hee!)
I tried one of the women that was recommended to me and she was HORRIBLE! For the 3 months she worked for us, she cancelled twice because of funerals, twice because she was "stranded" out of town due to the weather...and she was only coming every other week! And when she did show up, she did a poor job. I admit, I am picky and I expect it to meet my standards, but when there are whole sections of the floor that she "missed", that's not just me being picky. So we let her go, I called the service that was recommended to us when we lived in the city, and they are coming out to Brookfield to clean our house now. They do just as fantastic a job as I remember. So I thank you to the Moms who recommended Bonnie's Cleaning. They are AWESOME!

My nanny and her husband do cleaning. They are in your area and completely honest and trustworthy. Epi has worked for us for 21/2 years. She's a dream. I share her with one other family as our nanny. The family I share her with employes her husband. My husband employs her husband at his offices. There is also a 3rd family that they both clean for. I personally consider them as part of our family. If you're interested in meeting them, let me know and I'll hook you guys up. FYI, I've had cleaning services in and out of our home and have always felt a bit uneasy with people I don't know in my home....I totally know what you're going through trying to figure this out! They will use whatever products you are comfortable with.
