We're in the process of buying our first home, and there are a bunch of minor repairs that need to be done. My husband and I are both terrible with home improvement projects, so would rather pay someone to do it right. BUT we're kinda broke, since we just moved across country, bought our first house, and I'm not working. I had John Hamilton help us with a couple of projects in 2008. He was/is a handyman and was waiting for results from taking his contractors license when he helped us out. John is technically family - he is my sister-in-law's nephew - but I actually hadn't met him until he came to the house to help us out. My contact list says you can reach him at ###-###-#### or at ____@____.com replaced a ceiling fan for us and installed 2nd one. Since we liked what he did and his work ethic, we had him come back to remove a dog door and restore the inside wall. He lived in Citrus Heights but probably travels all over Sacramento County.
