I got an e-mail today informing me that my 6 year old son had been selected to "Take the Field" at the Ranger game on September 7th. In case you haven't seen them do this at the Ranger game . . . During the pregame, they call the child's name over the loud speaker and have them take the field at an assigned possition. Then, the actual player comes out to their position, talks to the kid a second and autographs a baseball for them. My son is absolutely thrilled! My husband is incredibly jealous too. He's already told me that he'll be the parent escorting him down there! I was just so excited, I had to share!

Ohh man, yeah for him. That memory will last a life time, so be sure to not only record the event, but record him talking about it afterwards! There is no joy greater than being the mother of the happiest kid in the world for that moment! Tell dad to have a good time too! ~A.~

Jake is so lucky! It's so wonderful to share in those moments with your kids!! My daughter got to go onfield with the Cowboy Cheerleaders when she was 12 and she still mentions it. That was 14 years ago!!
