B.B.
haha, I just did this today with my mom. I got 2 white onesies and a sharpie. On my oldest sons I wrote "Here we go AGAIN" and on my youngest son I wrote "I'm gonna be a BIG brother".
Congrats! Let us know what you decide to do!
So I am almost 7 weeks along and I am visiting my parents this weekend. I want ideas of cute ways to tell them. This is my third baby so I did look for a shirt that my daughter could wear saying "I'm going to be a big sister" but I couldn't find one and I'm leaving tomorrow so I don't have time to get one made. So what are other ideas? Thanks

Maybe gift an "I love Grandma or Grandpa" bib or get a picture frame that has 3 separate places for pictures and fill 2 of them with pics of your 1st and 2nd and then put a paper with the due date in the 3rd slot and gift it to them.
Fabric paint dries overnight.
Best wishes and blessings
FOr our second, we brought a collection of photos to the family and added in the sonogram picture. They all looked at pictures of our three year old and were sort of confused for a moment and then they got it!!
In hindsight, I should hav etaken a picture of my 3 year old holdign a sign that said "big sister."
My son and daughter-in-law presented me with an early Mother's Day present: a beautifully wrapped package, which, when unwrapped, was a pregnancy kit with a positive marker inside. This was their very cute way of letting me know that their son and my grandson is on the way.
I heard of taking a pacifier in a ring box for them to open
We bought books for my son about becoming a big brother. We wrapped them up and gave them to him at a family function where everyone was watching him open the gifts.
You could take the movie 9 months with Hugh Grant along with you and have them watch it.... Or make them a meal that has everything "Baby" in it...say Baby back ribs, Baby carrots, etc. Or just get some Baby Ruth candy bars and pass them out when you get there....Have fun and congratulations :)
Babies R Us has the Big Sister t-shirts :-)
When I saw my mom after I found out I was pregnant, I gave her a pattern for a baby blanket and some yarn (she crochets). She looked in the bag, looked at me, then looked in the bag again. She began to cry and said "Really?". It was a super moment for us.
Then I had my dad and his wife to dinner and I put out place cards. They each had two place cards, one behind the other. About half way through dinner I suggested they look at the second place cards. Joyful laughter abounded.
Hope this helps.
I got iron-on transfer paper from Wal-mart. You print out "Big Sister" on this paper from your inkjet printer and can iron it on to a plain t-shirt.
We did a homemade card. On the cover we put a picture of a grandpa-looking cowboy and the quote, "No cowboy was ever faster on the draw than a grandparent pulling a baby picture out of a wallet."
Inside, we put the sonogram under an old western "WANTED" sign and wrote the sentence, "Here's one to add to your wallet." The reaction was priceless as my parents put it all together!
