I just had a bday party for my daughter at good old Mickey D's! McDonalds offers a happy meal, cake, ice cream, a goody bag and invitations (if needed). All this for only $7.50 per kid! We kept the whole party under $100 (10 kids)!!! I added a few girly decorations for my daughter, but it really wasn't needed. Did I mention they give balloons for each kid too?
She and her friends had a blast!
My kids had a great time at Pump it Up Jr. in east plano; google the name to get their web site. Very age appropriate jump houses, great staff. Of course it was cost effective for us because we have 2 sets of twins with birthdays all in the same month.
I have a daughter who is 2.5 and I have been looking into pottery parties. I think that would be so much fun, sure the pottery would not be perfect but the kids would walk away with a great memory and art. I even found one that comes to your house and http://firehousepotterystudio.com/default.aspx

Metroplex Gymnastics in Allen with out a doubt. You can do gymnastics (which includes an obsticle, zip line, touble track, trampolines, pit and bounce house) or swim party (pool is covered and heated). We had my oldest boys 3rd birthday there and it was amazing!!
