I Need a Good Book on Toddlers and Sleep Issues

Any suggestions? My daughter is 17 months and goes to sleep great but wakes too early and naps really short. She cries upon waking and throughout the day which tells me she is tired. I have tried giving her two naps but she will only sleep for one. I really would like to do some reading on this.

What baby sleep books are good?

What can I do next?

Healthy Sleep Habits, Happy Child by Dr. Marc Weissbluth is my go-to sleep book. I've used it since my 3.5YO was born and it's been helpful for my 1YO, too. It's going to tell you to start nap training! Try Amazon.com or your local library to find a less expensive copy.

Hi S.,
I love the book, "Healthy Sleep Habits, Happy Child". It's a great book for younger kids and older ones so it will be handy for years to come. It has suggestions for the mom that does the cry-it-out method and not. Good luck.
Chris
