Wouldn't you know it! I have a drop of crazy glue on a pair of new pants. They are red trousers Shell: 67% Polyester, 31% rayon. They are dress pants. Does anyone have a home rememdy that would help me to get the glue out?

I plan on taking them to a cleaners to see if they would be able to clean them but that will not happen until after work.

What can I do next?

I would try pure acetone. Try a inconspicuous area first though to test colorfastness and possible marring of the plastic in polyester. You can use acetone on a lot, but it does not work well with plastics.

Goo Gone? Don't know if it will stain though.

I use fingernail polish remover on my hands to remove super glue to I bet it would work.

The issue I see is that the clothes are red. Red is not a permanant color. It bleeds, fades, stains other clothes with the dye, etc...I think if they were any other color they might be able to be saved but seriously red is gonna be hard.

Call the company and ask them.

Avon skin so soft is used for super glue on skin.

My first suggestion, and i found some confirmation from googling - VINEGAR! I'd let the pants soak in vinegar - it won't stain or discolor - and let it eat away at the glue for a few hours.
