one week's pay is pretty standard for a nanny.
We have a nanny who works 12 hours a week and another who works 4 hours. We have 3 kids. What would be appropriate holiday bonuses? We live in a high-cost area of the country. Thanks in advance!

For the 4 hour nanny, either a week's pay or $50, whichever is greater. For the 12 hours nanny, either a week's pay or 150, whichever is greater.

I think it's supposed to be what you would normally pay her for one week's salary. So, if you pay her 100.00/week then give her 100.00 if it's in your budget. That's what I did with my in-home childcare provider because it was well in my budget at the time and I loved her for how well she took care of my baby.
I had been told that a good holiday bonus was whatever one day's pay is, so that is what I try to give. Good luck!!
How old is babysitter. High school or college kid. Older woman? I think a. very part time baby sitter is very different than a full, time nanny. Maybe $100 tops and $50 tops.
A bonus is just that, a bonus. You should pay what you feel is appropriate, which could be $25 or $1,000.
I week of pay! And you can bring it up a bit if it seems to little.
