Check the calendar for the San Marcos library. They have story time. I've also recently found a mommy group in the area. I haven't had a chance to go to a playdate yet, but there are several times a week that they get together and also have mommy night's out!! Go to meetup.com and find Mother's Inc. in North SD county.

Have you tried meetup.com? I have a few host moms in Escondido who have joined some of these groups and are having fun meeting other moms (sometimes with their au pairs) for stroller walks, playground fun & other group activities. Good luck,

I teach wonderful Mom and Me classes. They are Kindermusik classes for toddlers where we sing, play instruments, play movement games with streamers, scarves, balls, hulla hoops and more. Included in each lesson is story time and hand puppet play to quiet music. We finish with a circle dance holding hands and then sing good bye and have treats for doing a great job. Mom and child are enriched and have a terrific bonding experience doing music together. Parents do not need to have any musical ability. It is fun fun fun.

The city of San Marcos has great options for great prices. So Cal Gymnastics and Pacific Coast Gymnastics also have Mommy and Me classes. and a variety of music classes around as well.
