Help with Middle Names

My brothers name is Aaron (love that name) and his middle name is Thomas. Christopher would go nicely with it too. Love the name Addison also. Maybe a good middle name would be Grace. Congrats!

This is a tradition in my culture that we've followed for generations. We give our children their mother's maiden name as their middle name. (So, your child would have your maiden name as his/her middle name.) It's a nice reminder that he/she has two families to carry the names of.

My friend's daughter is Addison Faith. It's cute and less common than Grace. I have two girls, but if they would have been boys their names would have been Breelyn and Ryder or Rylan.

My husbands name is Aaron Kyle.....he's always gotten compliments on his name.

My daughter's name is Adisen Rayne. I almost named her Adisen Jade

My daughter is Allison Nicole and my son is Eric Thomas. I like both of their names because they aren't "trendy" names. Neither one of my kids knows someone with their names. And, no one ever asks how to spell them. ;)

I like the idea of naming them after family or using a last name as a middle name. It could be your mother's maiden name as their middle name. Middle names are a nice way to connect them with their elders.

Mine kids middle names are all family member names (Edward, Rose, Antonette) .... hope that helps! Congrats and best wishes for an easy delivery!

Wow you have gotten a lot of responses. Here is my two cents worth. I love Jude. My son's name is Kaleb Jude. He was our miracle baby and I love St Jude. So we named him after St. Jude the patron saint of hopeless causes. Best Wishes.

Since the first names will be two syllables, I would go with either a one or three syllable middle name.

My son's middle name is my maiden name. He'll always have a part of me and my family with him!

For Addison I like Delayne/Delana, Danielle and Nicole. For Aaron I like Matthew, Nathaniel, Grant, William and Carter. However, with my kids I have given all of them a name of someone in the family. My 17 yr old is Shelby Kathryn (for my Aunt Kate), my son who passed away was Marcus Layne (Marcus was his dad) my 2 yr. old son is Rhys Layne David, Layne (for his brother) David (Dad's middle and grandpa's first name) and my 6 week old daughter is Piper Corrine (my mom's middle name) Anne (MIL's middle name). I like to find a family name to use. Especially a last name to use for middle like......... Howard, ratto, templin, hensel, etc... I say search your family tree.

We have 3 children. We used family names for the middle names. Someone that has had special meaning in our lives. Hope that helps.

My oldest son's name is Aaron David. I wanted Aaron Matthew, but decided to make my son's middle name the same as my husband's. So, I named my second son Matthew and his middle name is my husband's first name. We can't have anymore boys because we are out of middle names!! If we ever have a girl, she will have my middle name.

What if you list all the names of people you admire (in your families or just anyone) and see what sounds good with the Addison and Aaron.

What about using your maiden name as the middle name. Works for either a girl or boy and gives it some meaning.

My daughters middle name is Nicole and my son's middle name is Cole.

We just had a girl in October and we named her Addison. I love that name. We picked a family name for the middle name-Addison Jean.
