We are going to a big family egg hunt this year and I have a lot of eggs to fill. I was looking for any suggestions for something sort of healthy that a 1 1/2 yr old can eat that will fit in the eggs. Also trying to keep the cost down cause I have about 100-150 eggs to fill.

What can I do next?

I think you can get really small bags of animal crackers(at least you could around Halloween), you may have to tape the eggs shut though. Or you can just put some animal crackers or cheerios in the eggs.

Carrots! mini-muffins , pretzels, cheese its, grapes, fruit snacks, cereal (cheerios, chex)

Just think of finger foods and toss them in there.

Is 1 1/2 years old too young for raisins? My son's nine, so can't remember back that far!!

If raisins are ok, get carob-coated and yogurt-coated raisins in bulk. You may find other carob- & yogurt-coated snacks - pretzels, maybe?

Goldfish, the little sesame street cookies, stickers from the dollar store...

How about pretzel nuggets or maybe even pennies to save.
