I had a tummy tuck, breast lift and implants, nine years ago. I've never regretted it, it was soooo worth it.
Do you regret it in any way? Was it worth the recovery, money and worries??

I had a tummy tuck 4 years ago (complete abdominoplasty) at the same time as my hysterectomy. Long recovery but the outcome and my life/health is sooo much better. I am not thin or anything, but before I had a hanging stomach and a c-section scar that kept openning up and leaking because it never healed properly. Before, I was a 14 everywhere else, but a size 22 in the midsection. Impossible to buy clothing! So, now I am a size 14 with a flat tummy. Very worth it for me, but the combo surgery was a doozy with a very long recovery!
I had a tummy tuck and liposuction of my arms 9 days ago.
So far, despite the pain and discomfort with recovery...I'm THRILLED with the results, and I know that they're only going to keep improving as I heal.
It was a lot of money, yet. Luckily, DH and I can afford it (and we're financing it, too...).
I still have a good amount of discomfort. It gets better every day. I would do it again in a heartbeat!
My best friend and SIL also had surgieres. 1 Tummy tuck and 1 lipo of the abs and flanks. Both of them look like a million bucks and couldn't be happier with their outcomes.
I had breast reduction surgery in 1996 and still love it, even after having kids. I've told my husband that I don't care what age I am if these suckers get big again, I would have it done again.
Not yet, can't wait to get my tummy tuck, woot! :)
I had upper eyelid surgery. Way easier than I thought and I've never regretted it. In fact, I am SO glad I did it!
I want a tummy tuck soooo bad...After my sections I have a hanging drawer. My mom had one done...Oh my she looks so good. All I need is the money to do it.
What type of surgery you talking about? I just had laser hair removal...and so far so good.
I want lipo on my saddlebags - I've worked out for 10 plus years and am really fit but can't budge the weight there. It makes me look out of proportion (chest 34, waist 28, hips 37) I figure the lipo would work and make me balanced out. I'm saving up for it when I turn the big 40
Yes. It's all worth it - IF you get a good surgeon. There are some bad ones out there, who can make you look worse. Do your research.
I havent though I would really like to. after having 3 babies in 20 months (my oldest was 20 months old when the twins were born), you can imagine that I have some, er...extra skin and flab. My husband and I have talked about it and we both agreed that after this year is over and we pay off about 90% of the bills we will start to save for it. I plan on really doing the "before work" as far and walking/jogging, doing some eliptical and light weights etc. I dont think it would be fair to ask my hubby to pay thousands of dollars on plastic surgery for me if i'm not willing to put in the work as well.
I haven't had anything.
I honestly think the ONLY thing i would ever do...if i ever had money is a breast lift.
No implants. Before babies I was just barely a B cup, and I LOVED my breasts, nice a perky, etc
Now after kids...not so much....
I want my perky boobies back haha
Not on the breasts or abdomen as mentioned here...I adopted so everything is still perky and tight at 45. I did use a plastic surgeon when I had three areas of skin cancer removed from my face, I don't mind scars anywhere else though.
No I have not. On the one hand, I would LOVE to get a tummy tuck and a boob lift (once I'm done nursing of course). But ... having had 3 kids, and 2 c-sections, surgery and recovery is no picnic for me. I know for some its a breeze. For me it is very scary and not awesome recovering.
Of course, we can't afford it anyways so it's a non-issue! LOL
