Have Gently Used Baby Products to Get Rid Of

1. A new aquaintaince of mine is pregnant w/ twins, has a son 8 mos. old & is 19 yrs. old!!!!!!!! She is in Arlington Memorial hospital 26 weeks pg. on bed rest (one of her sacks started leaking water).
2. CPC - Crisis Pregnancy Center in Duncanville. Center for young mothers who need counseling. If they attend so many sessions, they get to pick things out of their "store" there. The store holds many gently used items, maternity clothes, etc.....

Call your local Brighter Tomorrows or any other woman's shelter. These shelters are for mothers and their children who have to literally leave in the middle of the night to avoid abusive husbands. When they get to these shelters they need all the items you mentioned. It would make you feel good to know that these kinds of children could get good use out of those things.

There are plenty of churches too that will accept your donations for their nursery. I did donate a lot to Wesley Mission Center that were big also and they had no problem taking it. Call around and see where it might be needed. Also, in Arlington is the Women's center for battered women and I bet they would LOVE those items since most leave with what is on their backs and their children. Good luck. If you are looking for a little $ you could also sell on Craigslist.

M., that is very generous of you! check out craigslist in the wanted section...there are always people on there with stories of desperate need of baby items. I'm sure you will find a good candidate. Good luck!

My daughter is expecting in Sept. Her husband is a bi-vocational pastor and this position is not a paid one. Plus he drives from Arlington to Corsicana every three day. He is a firefighter/emt.
