I have heard that using a place like Super Suppers, Pass Your Plate, Mealtime, etc. is really convienient, but then I've also heard that the food isn't that great. Does anyone have any experience with any of these places?

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

We ended up going to Super Suppers, simply because my husband liked the Jan. menu better than the others. Instead of doing 12 full meals (4-6 servings) we did 24 half meals (2-3 servings). We did all of this (kind of rushed) in only an hour and 20 minutes!!! The total was around $200, but we split with my sister, so we only ended up spending around $100 for 12 meals!!! We have eaten about 1/2 of them so far and all of them have tasted really great. Not to mention, I made them, cook them, and its practically effortless. WELL WORTH IT!

The only thing I'd mention, is that with some of the meals (aka salmon) you may want to keep some easy sides on hand to prepare, such as salad or dinner rolls.

My kids and I have gone to SupperThyme USA here in Edmond two times and have enjoyed food and even had fun assembling the meals together. One other time I used their convenient order and pick-up service, where they assemble the meals and all you have to do is pick them up on a certain day. So far, we have really liked the food and have tried several new dishes that we had never had before. Even my kids have liked most of the meals, and they are picky eaters. There is a different menu offered each month and you can choose which meals you want to make. I haven't tried the other places in town, but I have been happy with SupperThyme.

I haven't tried it but my sister has and she swears by it. She loved it. I have tasted a few of the things she cooked and thought they were ok. But I don't think it's worth the money. She only got three meals and it cost her $50.

My husband and I are loyal customers to Super Suppers in NW OKC. It's a fun time to get together and assemble the meals! Every recipe that we've purchased has tasted good and you can add or leave out or substitute ingredients that your family doesn't like. Our family of four can easily spend $150 a week at the grocery store so Super Suppers is a deal to us. When you break it down, it only costs approx $3 per serving. I don't know anywhere that can beat that. I'd suggest that you give it a try one month and form your own opinion.
