I want to put an amazing pix of my daughter on a canvas. I started searching the web for prices and ones who do 30 x 30, because a lot don't do that size. As I got settled on a few, I found terrible reviews, so there went that. Has anyone done one and been super satisfied? If so....??????? Do tell.
I did see a really bad review on the Costco one too, was shocked!

I had a canvas on demand one done too and it's beautiful ... people LOVE the photo. It is one of me holding my son on my chest and us both "at rest" just after his first feeding and first few hours on the outside! Daddy took it and it's one of our favorites ever!
canvas on demand sent me an awesome one. i wanted part of the photo edited out and replaced with another part. she did it and everyone thinks it is amazing.
I've seen the displayed item, at Costco. Its real nice.
Or I think www.kodakgallery.com has it too. Kodak has nice quality products. I always order from them.
I ordered one from Kinkos seven years ago and I still think it is awesome! It was from our first time swimming with dolphins at Discovery Cove in Orlando. I know they still do them, I saw demos in there a few weeks ago.
A friend of mine did one at Costco and it turned out really nice...
20x30 from shutterfly and it looks great. Some of it is going to depend on the quality of the picture if it should be blown up that big. If it is low quality in any way, digital small file, was taken in low light, grainy, etc it will really show up when enlarged so that could be part of the reason for bad reviews. I have printed pictures at Costco and was not thrilled, but they were not for an album or frame so it was okay. I also was not happy with some prints from walgreens or cvs, one was warmer and one cooler so indoor or outdoor looked good but not both. Some of it is just going to depend on the individualbplaces processing. You may want to print a smaller size first to see how the colors look. We or extended family have had all kinds of things printed from shutterfly and it all comes out great. They will tell you the best size a picture will look good up to.

I had one done at Canvas on Demand and it came out great. We had one made for my FIL too and it was beautiful. Groupon always has deals for 16x20's too. Being Costco, I would think you could take it back if it didn't come out well. Be aware though, that some photos don't lend themselves to certain sizes. If they aren't in the same aspect ratio as a 30x30, it will need to be cropped, and if it isn't high enough resolution, it might look pixelated.
I have used Allpopart.com. They can print your pictures as is or make them into cartoons, or make them colorful, etc. They will print the picture on canvas or glossy paper and in different sizes - depending on what you want. They will give you a free estimate over email/phone. They are a little pricey but worth it. Once they do the initial set up you can get copies of the same picture for less money. For my mom's 70th birthday I sent them 3 separate pictures of my son and my 2 nieces and they put them together on canvas. It came out awesome! Hope this helps.
I had a large canvas printed from Shutterfly and it is awesome! They tell you if the quality is too low of resolution and you could upload and wait for a sale or coupon and get a great deal. The shipping costs are up there (but wait for a deal) and use ship30 code and you can get a discount. Good luck!
Yes, I have and they are great! Just received one and love it. Go for it you will not be disappointed!
I always order mine from Costco. They turn out as well as the quality of the picture taken, so the resolution needs to be high. We have 20x30 of the kids and it's awesome!
I know a wonderful artist who can copy the photo in either colored chalk or oil paint. This will NOT be a print of the photo on a canvass, but a portrait of your child. Contact me privately if you are interested. This artist is in SF, but works from photos all the time.
ChicCanvas.Com - LOVE their work! You can order custom size. I usually can find a coupon on-line as well, just google chiccanvas.com coupons.
