I was wondering if anyone knows a great salon that will do consultation, hairstyle makeover and has reasonable prices in the Santa Clara area? I have had only 2 hairstyles and they are no longer available.
I would recommend Faux Salon in downtown Campbell. I see Adriana and she is great. I think they all are great there.
You can try Peninsula Beauty. All 3 ladies are great they are in Campbell in the Pruneyard shopping center. ###-###-####.
Karen at Faux Salon in downtown Campbell is fabulous. Actually anyone at Faux will give you a good cut. All stylists are required to go through extensive training beyond graduating from Beauty College. I've not had a bad cut in the 10+ years I've gone to Karen. She will check your hair and talk to you about lifestyle, preferences, etc and give a good recommendation for style that you can easily duplicate at home. Their # is ###-###-####. Price for a cut is around $52 (mid range in this area) and worth every penny.

I go to Kim at Z salon on Stevens Creek near Kiely. She's very good asking "Are you ready for something new yet?", then halping me pick a new style. I'll pick 2 o3 out of one of her magazines, then she'll tell me which ones she thinks will work with my hair and face. Haircuts are $40, which seems to be the low end for a good stylist.

I know it is not santa clara but in Los Gatos there is a salon Durand and a stylist Nadia and she is wonderful a little pricey but she is great with both color and cut.
