Can anyone out there recommend a stylist that is good with perms? I think I've decided to take the plunge, to "tame" my natural waves/fluff into something nicer to look at when I don't have time to style. But I haven't had one in over 20 years, and want to be sure I go to someone who has a lot of experience. I also need someone good with color. I'm in the Manchester area, and am very grateful for any recommendations you can offer!

I don't know if she does perms, but she's fantastic with wavy/curly hair. Her name is Samara and she's at Bouffant Daddy. Here's the address: 7276 Manchester Road - Maplewood, MO 63143 - ###-###-####(they specialize in curly hair) I imagine she'd do perms, but she may also be able to show you how to style your hair to get the most curl and least friz out of it. I love what she's done with my really thick wavy/curly hair. After years of trying to figure out how to tame my hair, and often just blow drying it straight because I didn't "know what to do with it curly", she's given me some EASY and brilliant tricks that mean I now go wavy all the time. Don't do it you'll hate it. Only if you are a very kinky frizzy curl type.
