I was just wondering. I have fine hair on my forearms but they are pretty long. I've seen people with fairly heavy forearm hair and it look very masculine. I never considered shaving or waxing them, but now I'm wondering if maybe my forearms also look so hairy and manly to other people.

I wax and/or shave them. :) I started a few years ago and now I can't stand hair on my arms.

Is this reaction possibly cultural? When I lived in Japan, strangers on the subway actually pulled the hair on my arm and commented about it. I was shocked. I have subsequently heard of others who have had similar experiences in Japan. Females didn't have hair on their arms, but I think this was natural.
I cannot imagine shaving or waxing it. You would have to do that for the rest of your life!!
Yes, I shave my arms but luckily I'm blond so it's not as noticable.
I don't completely shave my forearms but I do use a men's hair trimmer with the shortest attachment to make the hair shorter which I like better. My daughter does the same thing. Go with what makes you feel most comfortable. Hope this helps.
