Green Vaccines ( I Know I Know )

I know I know I know. But - green vaccines or vaccines without Mercury or antifreeze or the harsh chemicals. I was able to find links to several websites only a few years ago but I'm finding nothing now.
why do I need this ? My brother in law married a foreigner and they had two kids stayed there several years brought the baby back brought him up to speed with the American required vaccines. Then the youngest was diagnosed with autism. Back then I sent him several links on foods to avoid , therapy and such from which to this day he believes was triggered from the vaccines and green vaccines (I know I know ). After all this therapy is no longer diagnosed as autistic but still I don't even know how to explain it " fully recovered"?Fast forward to now (divorced and second foreigner wife who also brought a baby over ( different country) has only a few vaccines and nothing past one year of age from what that country required. I know you can get an exemption for a couple of years then reapply. It's not as easy as it once was and say your religion prevents it. But I'm really looking for all those links to doctors that said they provided green vaccines and delayed shots for a hefty cost though, finding nothing . Am I just 5 years to late for that route ? Please be kind I'm trying to help my sister law. She's kind of alone in this process. They are in a big city with access to it ( or it once was claimed green vaccines ) hoping she'll get shots instead of avoiding them and this would be the only way

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

Thank you everyone who was able to kindly answer my question with out judgment. I vaccinated both my children and am looking for a source they could feel comfortable with so they too could vaccinate their children. Apparently those links to the doctors are no longer available. But some of you mommas provided some very useful information and I appreciate it. I will pass it forward so they can start vaccines.

Vaccines don't cause autism. You don't "recover" from autism - either he never was, or he is autistic and able to "pass" or manage his challenges.

She needs to talk to a pediatrician, set up a schedule and get the vaccines.

We've had way too many outbreaks of deadly diseases like whooping cough because people were not getting vaccinated.
The great Disney measles outbreak? it was ridiculous how many people got sick.
Your brother in laws family just needs to work with their pediatrician and get their family (probably his wife too) up to date with their vaccinations.
As for the mysterious full recovery from autism - maybe he was misdiagnosed as having it in the first place.

You know, you know, you know...but you are still trying to help them find something to fuel their delusion? And you're right, it's not as easy to say "my religion forbids it" because thousands of people lied about that, and then we had all these massive outbreaks of diseases that created misery, endangered people with compromised immune systems, and left many of the victims with side effects of the DISEASE. The "green vaccine" idea was largely a hoax or a money-maker for those happy to delude parents despite the research to the contrary. Between the government crackdowns and the proponents going out of business or getting sued, I think the "options" are few.

Your sister-in-law, if her English is good enough, should go to the CDC websites and the American Academy of Pediatrics. She can call local pediatricians to find some who will adjust the SCHEDULE of immunizations (so kids can stagger their vaccines rather than get so many in one sitting). This makes it much harder on the child, of course, and more expensive for the parents (more visits to get the same vaccines).

If your brother is still clinging to fully discredited "studies" that have been debunked, and if your sister-in-law is too intimidated by him or unfamiliar with American medicine, I don't think there is one thing you can do about it. Unless and until they understand that what protects their child is the "herd immunity" that comes from everyone getting vaccinated so these diseases don't gain a foothold that they haven't had in 30-50 years, they are just going to put their own child, and the children around them, at risk. Unfortunately, I think they just have to deal with the hospitalization, misery, and scarring from preventable illnesses, until their feel motivated or ashamed enough to get educated. Trying to help them fuel their fantasy isn't going to work for you, because you aren't going to find reliable information to support this position. I'd hand them over to a pediatrician - if they can find one who will admit their unvaccinated child to the practice, which many no longer do - and let the professional do the work of talking to them. If they aren't going to listen to any pediatrician, no matter how many they interview, I'm not sure what you think you can do that won't get thrown out the window at the next doctor or hospital visit.

And I wouldn't let my own children around her kids unless and until she and your brother change their minds. Even if yours are vaccinated, it doesn't make sense to continually put them in the presence of the diseases.

The reason you can't find them is that ALL childhood vaccines are now mercury/thimerisol free. They aren't advertised in a special way because it's standard. The only exception is the flu vaccine, and the words you are looking for are "preservative free". Most peds carry the preservative free version of the flu vaccine upon request.

Also, most peds I know will allow a more spaced out schedule, but many will not see kids if the family refuses vaccination completely - they just don't think it's ethical.

I strongly believe in vaccinating. If she is worried she can ask her pediatrician for thimerisol free vaccines for her child. She can also ask to space out vaccines and not get multiple vaccinations at once. If her pediatrician will not do this then she can go ask a different pediatrician until she finds one that will do it. You do know that many scientific studies have proven that there is no link between vaccines and autism.

It's certainly nice of you to try to help your family, but I think that your kindness is mis-directed. Helping a newcomer to get around in a new city, find resources for locating doctors and schools and legal requirements is beneficial. Helping a person to pursue such misguided health care for her children is not beneficial. To anyone.

You say that you know, but all you're doing is perpetuating their beliefs that you know are incorrect. It would be more helpful to state what you know is true, and if they choose to ignore facts that is their prerogative, but you don't have to be a willing participant. Try to direct them to a responsible physician, who will educate them respectfully.

This article shows how far back vaccination fears and myths have persisted:

This article deals with the whole Green thing, and the chemistry of vaccines (it explains why some people think there's antifreeze in vaccines).

If you want to truly help them, help them learn the facts and find a competent physician.

ETA: Well put, Diane B.

Well, if the child is fully recovered, he never had autism in the first place. If your sister-in-law lives in a big city, then they are around lots of kids and adults who can pass on lots of diseases. If your brother-in-law is bound and determined to believe the lie that doctor made up about the link between autism and vaccines, there's nothing you can do.

I suggest that you can't find info on "green" vaccines is because."green" is not used in regards to vaccines. Look up vaccines and you'll find lots of information including which ones still have or don't have the chemicals you named. There have been much improvement on vaccinations. You, the mother or your son can call pediatricians to ask about the vaccinations they use.

sounds like your nephew was misdiagnosed.

Your brother needs to go to his pediatrician and ask about their vaccination schedule and what is in their shots.

Personally? I would get my child vaccinated. The ONLY vaccine that I will NOT give my kids is the HPV vaccine. Our pediatrician worked with us on the vaccination schedule as we didn't want shots all at once.

A great website is www.thevaccinereaction.org
It is published by the national vaccine information center (www.nvic.org)

On the nvic website you can go to "vaccines" and then open the "vaccine ingredient calculator" to see how much aluminum each vaccines contain. They give you several options to choose and list in red which companies have higher levels. Very educational and eye opening!

People which have an egg allergie should know there is no flu vaccine without an egg protein. Lots of the seasonal flu vaccines contain still mercury typically 25mcg.

The polio vaccine from GlaxoSmithKline contains 600mcg aluminum but the Sanofi-Pasteur only 335mcg.

Almost all tetanus vaccine contains mercury still.

Interesting that the meningoccal Sanofi-Pasteur single dose is thimerosal and aluminum free but the multi dose has 25mcg mercury in it.

If you really have to get several shots at one time you might look into the calculator and ask your pediatrician.

Just an observation.... it seems that your brother and sister-in-law need accurate information about two different topics, about autism and about vaccination risks. A couple of the posters pointed out that autism isn't a condition from which someone 'recovers,' so if your brother thinks that is what happened, he is misinformed about what his son's diagnosis IS. Perhaps you can help them locate better information about that too? But it is higher priority to lead them to CDC information about vaccine risks and the debunking of that one article which linked autism with vaccines, for your niece's sake. Finally, I am confident that they can find a pediatrician who will agree to spread out the vaccinations on a more extended schedule, as long as the gal's vaccinations have been started.

they need to find a pediatrician that is willing to work with them on this and educate them on the pros and cons of vaccinating. they could visit several pedis and pick the one that fits their religion the best. but they need to discus things with a dr that knows the up-to-date information and not with a buncha mommies online.
