Good Maternity Consignment?

I have had a couple of garage sales and need to get the leftovers out of my garage. I would probably just take it all to Goodwill, except I've had a really tough summer and need to get at least a few more dollars for anything I can sell. I haven't had much luck with baby clothes at the Once Upon a Child at 95th & Antioch--they're VERY picky, and not very neat about returning clothes folded back up! Has anyone had particularly good or bad experiences at any other consignment that takes maternity clothing? Thank you!

Check out the Just Between Friends sales coming up in Overland Park and Shawnee/Kansas City, KS. Their website is jbfsale.com. Its a great opportunity to sell all of your used clothing and toys too, just about anything pregnancy and kid related!

Another consignment sale site is: http://consignmentmommies.com/
They also do maternity clothes. The sales are only once in a while, but with school coming up there should be one soon. You can boost your take home by working at the sale, wish they had this when my kids were little, now my daughters can take advantage.

I've been with Pete & Repeat for years and love them (just south of 75Th & Stateline) Check them out, I NEVER liked THAT place you mentioned, I thought they were well, not very nice!

I have used the twice annual consignment sales in the area to get my clothes and toys and other equipment sold. The one I used before is the Just Between Friends that someone else mentioned. This time I am using Kid's Closet, their website is www.kidscloset.biz. They have sales all over the city so you can chose which one is closest to you that you want to use. You have to clean and tag your clothes, but you also get to set your own prices. They have a $12.50 fee for space and advertising and you get 70% of the sale of your stuff. I had a lot of luck with the JBF last two sales and am using Kid's Closet this time because they have one in my town, so it's closer to me for drop off and such. Plus if you refer someone your fee is waived. Good luck, hope you get your stuff sold!
