Has anyone used this? I have a 7 mos old with reflux, eczema and food allergies. She is not an efficient nurser and my supply is running low and need to supplement.
She is allergic to corn - which is in almost ALL formulas. I tried Alimentum ready to go and she threw it up!

What can I do next?

I did - we mixed the powder with the water and added brown rice syrup and vitamins. My son also had eczema and food allergies (still has allergies, eczema cleared around 1 yr). We did it for a few months until he turned 1 or so, then went to just goat milk without adding the extra stuff. He drank that until he was 3, then we tried almond milk and he was not allergic, so have been all almond ever since. Good luck.

I haven't, but when my son was just over a year we were giving him just normal goats milk. It is gentler on the stomach and from what I understand it is the closest to human milk.

I would check with your pediatrician of course, and I agree, a lactation consultant would be a good idea. Both my daughters had milk/soy allergies (which they grew out of at 1 year old). Both were exclusively breast feed with me being on an elimination diet (no milk/soy). My first was so bad she had to be on Neocate for a while which is an amino acid based formula even more hypoallergenic than alimentum (not sure if it has corn in it). Very expensive, but depending on the state you live in, health insurance will cover it with a doctor's note. Good luck.

I've not used that... but I would advise you to get a Lactation Consultant check out why your 7 month old is not an efficient nurser. She may be tongue tied, have lazy latch due to nipple confusion (sounds like you've introduced bottles already) or any number of very easily fixed issues - when you have a professional help you.

Goat's milk is the closest to human milk. I would use raw milk, from a clean dairy, and add in the ingredients to make it have enough iron and other suppliments it needs. Check out http://www.rockwellnutrition.com/Can-I-use-Goat-Milk-inst....
