My husband is very much into trying different flavored beers. So I went to the huge liquor store in town and picked out a bunch of different types of beers. Then got him some nuts & hot sauces to go with it. He is going to love it!

I meant to get him some cologne too...but just didn't have time.

My husband isn't materialistic, that doesn't make them hard to shop for, it makes them easier. First what does he need that he doesn't have the time to get for himself? The other direction is what are his hobbies, passions, that he may not fund because that is putting his needs first?

Oh my goodness, I am grateful for this post and the fact that you beat me to it! Hubbies are the most difficult to buy for so this year I flat out asked. His request was "you can get me the new Tom Clancy book," and that I did. Then I raided his closet and figured out things that he would really need/use. I've found that men like gifts they can use--or eat! Not ALL men--but many men. Therefore I got a bunch of goofy stocking stuffers like insoles (his are really worn), high-quality pepperoni (and wrote, got pizza) and a gift card to itunes.

My husband is a computer guy, so he got memory (that he wanted) for the computer. The other things are from the kids, he wanted a large mug, so the kids went to a paint your own pottery place and each painted him one. He is getting a new pair of slippers, a new wallet, a new belt and silk suspenders (that he asked for when he wears his tux). Not very exciting I know but all things he uses, needed or wanted. Try to think about the things he does or uses every day, some times a new one of some thing is appreciated.

Another bottle of his favorite cologne (he ran out a while ago)
A nice bottle of scotch
A 12 pack of Guiness and another 12 pack of a Blue Moon winter assortment
A box of one of his favorite cigar brands

My husband never really likes what i give him, so usually i get for him what i like. this time its flannel sheets, cause he is always complaining about the old sheets wrinkling up and making him sore. my husband is very foodalistic so any sweets/caramel popcorn is a go. he does like assorted nuts, which i like too or a restaurant gift card. lol.

12 pre-planned date nights, 1 per month. If you google "date night ideas" you can find a ton. We're doing that this year - I'm planning 6 and he's planning 6 as gifts to eachother!

My hubby is like yours, doesn't ask for anything and is hard to get gifts for. I have to pay attention during the year when he sees something on a commercial or when we are in a store, and he comments that he likes it or could use it or wants to get it etc. Then I have to make a note of it because I never remember! I did a better job of this last year this year I was having a really hard time too! I'm sure he will love whatever you get for him!

My husband is the same way:) I got him a seiko watch. I told him he can wear it when we go out on dates. (he doesn't usually wear watches) He really likes it and I notice he is wearing it often. Kohls have fantastic prices too for watches. good luck:)
