Working from home and loving it!
Hello Moms,
My 27 month old daughter is now completely day time (including naps!!) potty trained. I am interested in getting flushable wipes for her to use as the toilet paper doesn't alway do a thorough enough job (even when I do it!). When she was in diapers I used the Pampers UNSCENTED wipes. She has very fair, relatively sensitive skin and I'd like to keep the harsh smelling wipes off her body. Any suggestions on a brand/type to get? The one type I saw at the store today wreaked through the packaging! Thanks Ladies!

Both my kids have sensitive skin and we also use the BJ's toddler wipes which are flushable..I think it say not to do more than 2 at a time though. They are convenient for on the go too! Good luck.
We use the Pampers flushable wipes. I don't think they have a terribly strong scent and they work really well for my daughter.
Hi A.,
We use the toddler wipes at BJ's (in the diaper aisle). there really is not much of a scent at all and i like getting 6 at once to have on hand. We tried the Kandooz but their scent was too much for us.
I would simply train her to wipe herself and put the wipe in the trashcan. That way you can buy any wipe you like. Pretty much every bathroom has a trashcan. This is also good training for future feminine products. I like the CVS wipes (their own brand: soft cloths supreme unscented) since they are truly cloth and very soft and economical. The drop-in packs that go in the plastic box come in a resealable bag so we just keep one of those for travel. Make sure she wipes herself well from front to back. We have a septic system and narrow pipes it seems (have used the plunger a lot), so I concur with the other post to not put anything down the toilet that does not come out of your body. Cheers, Cato.
They do make Kandooz (pampers brand) sensitive. Maybe that's a good first try. My daughter had no trouble with Huggies Clean Team flushable wipes, believe it or not. We never had used a Huggies product before but like I said - these worked (after a lot of trial and error) and she is EXTREMELY sensitive down there :) The regular Kandooz were not a good match.
Beware of those flushable wipes, even though they say flushable they are not really flushable. I had a $2000 plumbing bill to prove it. They were all caught in a pipe in my basement and the pipe ended up with a leak and needed to be replaced. The plumber pulled out a bunch of those "flushable wipes" and told me that they aren't really flushable. They don't break down.
Mine is another vote for Scott's flushables. My daughter also has really sensitive skin and these have never irritated her. Good luck!
We use the Scott Naturals brand flushable wipes. They have a very light scent and they are in every supermarket so they are easy to find!
