We were looking for something similar, but needed something on the weekends. Skokie's park district classes for toddlers are mostly during the week at Devonshire. The Emily Oaks Nature Center has Nature Rambler classes for 2 year olds and another class for 2-4 year olds with weekday and weekend options. The Wilmette Park District gymnastics classes were highly recommended for me and offered classes on the weekends. If you want movement combined with singing and music, strongly recommend Music Together. Here's a link to a program with two Skokie locations: www.harmonious-horizons.com. Classes start this week.

I'd also suggest The Family Room in Evanston. They have 90 minutes drop-in playtimes and the staff is wonderful. The website is http://www.famroom.org/

Have fun!

Did you check out your Parks District? They usually have everything you could possibly need. They offer gymnastics, playgroups and lots of activities for toddlers. Also churches sometimes offer playgroups and the library often has story time for young children.

The website for the Skokie Park District is www.skokieparkdistrict.org

Hope this helps.
