We just finished finger painting & one of my girls splashed paint water onto the table. It dripped onto a shirt that was on a chair & then as I was wipping up it got on my pants.... any suggestions as to how to get this light stain out? Thanks!

What can I do next?

Borax works well. My daughter comes home from daycare regularly with finger paint on her clothes, some that is supposedly "washable" and soaking it in Borax over night or for a few hours seems to work well. We had issues with the blue paint not coming out of her clothes and I tried that and it worked. :o)

Use Dawn with water and scrub just before washing. D. J. :)

I don't have the answer, but can say as a teacher I only use washable paints and I still add a little dish soap to the paint. I know this is too late to help now, but next time you might want to try adding dish soap as your less likely to have to deal with stains. Maybe something with Oxi might work on the stain.

Is it washable finger paint? If so, should just come out in the wash. If not, get washable finger paint!

Hello!

I have great results even with stubborn paint with Murphy's Oil Soap as well as Spray and Wash.

Good luck : )

I like the new Spray n' Wash Max with Resolve, it takes most things out with the first wash. Be sure to follow the directions. If it doesn't come out with the first wash then try again. In the past I have tried 5-6 times before I gave up and just bleached it. Make sure that you don't put it through the dryer until you are happy with the results. Good luck.

Hi, C. -
I've always had great luck with a product called "Zout". It's gotten out stains even after the clothes had been washed and dried already. Be sure to watch for washable paints in the future! Good luck!
