So What Happened?

thank you ladies. my daugther is 6 months and i realize she is getting older not younger so i stop the warming of her bottles and she likes it just fine, her dad had a little issue with it so that is why i asked, my doctor said the same thing as some of you ladies so i am comfortable with my choice, and she seems to like it better that way. and for the smart M. who asked if i would give my child a cold meal no sweetie but i also don't drink hot milk!

I guess it varies for every child, but my son wouldn't take a bottle unless we put ice cubes in it and he could hear it rattle.
Some babies like warm and some babies don't really care.
It all depends.

Depends on your kiddo and it's preference. You don't actually have to warm it up, but since breastmilk is warm, it's probably nice for the infant to have it at that temp. I'd just try different temps and see if your baby cares and then go from there.

We never warmed my daughter's bottles. She drank expressed breastmilk at temps ranging from refrigerated to body temperature. She didn't seem to have a preference, but most of the time the bottles were room temperature.

I think if I was a baby, I would like my bottles warm. Breast milk is warm so I just assume most babies would like it warm. My daughter is 9 months old and when my husband has to give her a bottle, he warms it. She would probably take it cold but I think warm milk helps her relax and feel cozy. You wouldn't give your child cold dinner when they're older would you? I say warm the bottle

Age one-when you stop giving them a bottle.

Try not warming it up and see if baby will take it. I don't think warming the bottle is a requirement at any age.

We warmed it for a couple of months and then one day tried giving her the bottle cold. She didn't mind it so we just stopped warming it. I wish we had tried it cold earlier.
