Yum! Making me hungry for all of these comfort foods, but without being able to workout, I gotta be very careful! (I have a neck disc thing going on..can barely hold my own head up let alone lift weights..ugh!) I get the crock pot out more. Chili, roast, etc. My hubby is not a soup guy (he says soup is a beverage! LOL), but my teen daughter and I like a few kinds. I am not a fantastic cook, so I just have a few simple recipes, but definately more hearty foods are done starting now!
This is a fun, easy EASY fall treat and pretty healthy as far as treats go and makes me feel fall has arrived!
Get a spice cake mix and a can of pumpkin (100 % pumpkin, not pie filling stuff). Mix the two together and make as drop cookies (spray your cookie sheets, about 325* 8-10 min.) You can make them any size you want..I do small ones as they are prefect for my daycare kidlets! Add a smear of cream cheese frosting for a little bit of flourish.
If you google it, there are options for adding raisins and/or nuts as well, but my kidlets just love these cake-like cookies as is!
YUM!
