Expressed Breastmilk Came Out 2 Different Colors???

I've been nursing my daughter for 9 months now and pumping when I'm at work. This has only happened once or twice before that I've noticed, but today when I pumped, each breast produced significantly different colors of breastmilk. I have an electric pump with both breasts going at the same time. One side looked thinner or more watered down than the other which looked milkier. The next time I pumped, the bottles were both the same milky color. Any ideas on why this would happen?

What can I do next?

probably has something to do with which breast you nursed her off of last. i wouldn't worry about it.

I wouldn't worry about it too much... It might have something to do with what side your daughter last fed off of, or what you ate...
I also know that at certain stages of nursing and your child's age your milk changes to fill them up more.

Don't worry, it sounds like it's something you might have eaten or it's possible it could be your thinner milk coming out that looks slightly different than the hind milk (the fattier part of milk). The hind milk usually comes out around 10 minutes after nursing or pumping begins and is slightly thicker which helps baby stay fuller. Keep up the good work!
