Easy to Manuever Double Stroller?

I want to know if there is one out there? I currently have one, however it is a bear to turn and push with my 2 1/2 year old son and almost 9 month old daughter in it. I have been looking at the Combi strollers, with the third set of wheels, but wondered if anyone had any suggestions or better yet, have one that they just love?!

What can I do next?

We just got a Baby Trend Sit-N-Stand Stroller. It has a regular seat for the little one and then kind of a "jump" seat in the back for the toddler. It manuevers really well. It works well for us because my daughter who is almost three won't stay in regular strollers for very long anymore but she loves the jump seat in this one because she has more freedom to move around. The only think I don't really like about it is that its hard to squeeze a diaper bag under the seat, but I think its a good size and its pretty easy to push. Good Luck!

I have a Joovy sit and stand that also has a pull out seat for the "stander". I absolutely love this stroller because it's so easy to manuever and it's not too heavy. I have at times pushed this stroller through wet grass using only one hand without too much trouble. I mourned the day that I realized that my son was too tall to use the stroller comfortably. In fact, even though I know that I no longer have a use for it and I need to sell it, I keep putting it off lol.

Hi,
We bought a Chicco Citta twin stroller. It's actually a double umbrella stroller so it takes up less room in the trunk. We took it to Disney last fall and my 4 and 2 year olds had a nice ride. It is a side by side, so sometimes it's tight in stores, but it turns great and pushes better than our other big double stroller. Good luck. I remember searching and not knowing.

i cant say a certain brand. But what i think to look for would be "the biger wheels the better" Im that way on just a single stroller. But with a double one and the extra weight it will make even more of a differ. The smaller wheels cant get through gravel or grass till u reach the pavement. Plus it will stir much easyier and less pushing with the wheels being larger.
so i hope that helps when u look for a diff stroller.
i know my sister (with her twins) perfered the side by side seats instead of back to back. But i cant say for myself.
Good luck dear:D

My Mom bought me a Peg-Pèrego double stroller from a twin sale after I had my twins. This stroller is THE Cadillac of strollers. The wheels ride so smooth and it navigates corners etc. with as much ease as a double stroller can. You can even change the seats around so that the babies are facing each other or facing away from each other. However, this stroller has a $700.00 retail value because it's an Italian brand (from what I've heard). My Mom bought it for $300.00 because it was very slightly used and I've seen them on ebay a few times for around the same price. It's worth checking out though :-) ~B.

Depends on how much you want to spend! I've heard good things about the Phil & Ted's E3 - you can buy a toddler jump seat to go with it, it converts from single to double, has the footprint of a single stroller, etc. For one that's 1/2 the price of the Phil and Ted's, you could check out one of the new Kolcraft doubles - they look pretty nice, too. Let us know what you end up liking/getting!

I searched for months to find the perfect double stroller. It doesn't exist. I ended up getting the Eddie Bauer Double ($129.99) stroller from Target. And I LOVE IT. It doesn't have a very big storage basket underneath or a cupholder for mom. Go to Target and test drive it. I went throught several... I bought like 3 different ones, put them together, tried them and took them right back. Three of my friends all have the Eddie Bauer now and we all love them. They are not perfect.. but the best I could find.

Good luck

YEAH sit-n-stand stroller! I love ours. My son hates the stroller (hes 4) but he still gets tired enough to want to sit, he will sit in it for quite sometime. I agree with the diaper bag issue, thats the one hang up about it. It maneuvers great though (my husband says its cuz of the longer wheel base?). It was by far my favorite baby shower gift. We got ours from Target, and I really have not seen them sold anywhere else, maybe Babies-R-Us, but I think it was considerably more there. Good luck to you!
