We live in dry central Florida and play in the pool water and the beach, any suggestions for something to keep my skin from being so dry and my hair healthy?

What can I do next?

Renew lotion works great and does not lather on mineral oils or greases. It rehydrates. Drinking lots of water also helps.

Whenever I go to the pool, I put conditioner in my hair (Frizz-Eas Smooth Start) and don't rinse it out. The conditioner protects my hair from the drying sun and chlorine.

For hair, i would say a leave-in conditioner. For skin, my mom uses sunflower oil (yes, the kind u buy in a grocery store and cook with). Her legs used to be VERY dry and cracked (we live in south florida) and she started using the oil every day like a lotion, and her legs are amazingly smooth and silky! I thought it was weird at first, but it really works!

I use Arbonne products. For me they are very hydrating. Love the shampoo and conditioner. You want to make sure the shampoo is not stripping your hair and that the conditioner is not just coating it, but providing nutrients. Skin care should be hydrating and not contain mineral oil. I love the Suncare line with SPF 30 and for the times I completely forget to put it on and burn a little, the Seasource renewing gelee is completely amazing. Saved my son from a horrible burn with blisters. Good luck!
