At around 18 months we switched to Method Free + Clear for everyone's clothes. I have been pleased with it. I was surprised that it even got the stink out of my husband's biking clothes! ( he bikes 5 miles to and from work most of the year)
Hello Mom's. My daughter is 15 1/2 months now. We have always used Dreft detergent on all her clothes, blanket, and ect. I was wondering at what age do you think we could use regular detergent? Do you have any recommendations on what is another good detergent for toddlers clothes?

I only used dreft for a few months and then I now use the Tide sensitive skin or scent free and that seems to work really good for all of our clothes.
Hi T.,
I have always used detergents that are dye and fragrance free (there are many to choose from). They are great for sensitive skin of all ages. I have 2 boys, 1 of which has sensitive skin like DH.
They also make dye/fragrance free dryer sheets.
Any "Free and Clear" (no perfumes no dye)detergent should be fine. I never used Dreft as our dr said the free and clears were fine from the beginning.
You could try washing a load in your regular detergent and watching for a reaction (dry, red or itchy skin), but I liek the free and clear because it fine for everybody.
We only used dreft for about a month when I was told about free and clear. My daugher has never had an issue... We use All Free and clear
we've been using all free& clear pretty much since our LO's were 6 mos old (after the dreft we got from the baby shower was used up). never had problems with it
Ive never used the dreft on any of my childs clothes. I think regular detergants are just fine. I think dreft is to much money. If your child is sisitive with soap and other things then i would be use cation when changeing it but i feel it doesnt matter.
