I am in the market for a double stroller. I need something that fits in the trunk of a midsized sedan. I am interested in the Chicco double stroller, but I want to hear from some of you about the ones you like the most before I commit to something. Thanks!

What can I do next?

I have a Phil & Ted's tandem stroller. I didn't want a side-by-side as I can't imagine navigating stores/the mall with that. The Phil & Ted's seems more "sporty" in that I use the stroller 90% of the time for walking in the neighborhood so it was more "physical." My toddler (2 1/2) sits in the front, and the baby (10 mos) sits in the back in an attachment that I hook on.

I think it would fold down well to fit in your trunk.

The drawbacks is that it doesn't have good storage, so if I go to the mall I carry my purse, bags, etc., though I can fit the diaper bag in the bottom. The unfolding is also a little tricky, and the tires are real tires, so I've had one "pop" due to glass so I had to take it to a bike store to be fixed.

I bought mine on eBay (new), and probably paid $100 less than if I had bought it in a store.

I have the "Sport" model which I'm not sure they're making anymore. I should've bought the next version up (Deluxe?) as I don't like the brake on mine. They're also not cheap ($400-$500?).

We went with the graco quattro tour because it folded up smaller than the graco duo-glide. We had a Camry then and it was the only one that fit well in our trunk that we tried. Even then, it barely fit with not much room for anything else. I liked the stroller a lot (for a double).

I just bought the Britax B-ready. It's great because it can fit a Chicco key-fit (with additional attachment). It can be used as a single or a double so if you're just taking one baby out you don't have a huge double buggy. It's really easy to steer (can do it one handed even with both babies in it). It is not the most compact folding buggy, but I think it should fit in a sedan, just maybe not much room for anything else.

I have the graco duo glider. I really like it. I like that i can stick my son in the back in his graco infant car seat or stick him in by himself and don't have to change anything but to push the back seat up or undo the latch and let it come down. So easy. It folds up pretty well and is easy to open and shut. When i have the back seats in in my van i have to take the tray off the front seat of the stroller, but its really easy to do and just as easy to put back on. Plus there is a ton of room under their seats for storage, a cup tray for mom and a little cubby for your phone or keys too. My MIL bought me a little elastic strap holder that i can also hang bags or my purse on. I just have to be a little careful because when big sister is not in the front and little brother is in his car seat in the back, it can become a little back heavy. So I just stick my purse in the front seat and its fine. I'm really happy with my stroller.

I have a baby jogger city mini double that I bought three years when my son was an infant. I love it. I tried a few others before getting this one, and my kids are now 3 and half and almost 6 and I still use it regularly. It is the easiest to push, folds up quick and is compact compared to other doubles. I had an umbrella fold double that was supposed to be compact but it really was worse since it was bulky all around, the BJ lays nice and flat and I can put groceries on top, which I couldn't do with the maclaren. It also pushes easy and has just about everything you need in a double. Great sun coverage, fairly light weight, they also have a city micro which is even lighter weight. I would highly recommend BJ, they last mine still looks and acts like new after three years.

I love the double jogging strollers and think there are a few that fit into a smaller trunk. They are so much easier to handle than any other ones I have tried. If you get one, look for one with a swivel wheel and bike-like tires - they seem to be the most versatile. Good luck!

I have a Graco Duo-Glide for my boys... I like it bc my Graco infant car seat fits in the back seat, and my older son loves riding in the front!
