I wondered if anyone was about to sell a twin stroller. We don't need it until summer. If not, what is a good one for grandparents to keep on hand?
Wow, does this site work well! Thank you everyone. We went to Cutie Patootie and found that cute resale place. Had no idea that was there. They had a double side by side stroller for $100. Then, while out I got a call from one of the two I had left my cell phone with. We were not far from where she lived, so went over and we now have a Graco double stroller. So, anyone else looking for a double stroller, answer these offers. You will get a nice one like we did. I hope all of you that responded get someone to respond from my request.
No twins here (Thank goodness!), but I wanted to ditto craigslist. That's the perfect place to find something like that at a reasonable price.
I have a Graco DuoGlide that I have been wanting to get out of my garage. I just did a quick search on Craigslist. They seem to be priced between $60 - $80. I would be willing to sell mine for $50. It is the navy blue series. It is definitely used. I used it for my girls for almost 3 years. It is still totally functional and I have all the parts -- canopies and trays. We are getting ready to sell a Graco Duoglide green stroller on Craigslist. It's in great shape.
I have a Graco duo-glide (one seat in front of the other) that it's now time to sell. It's been well used (4 kids!), but also well loved so it's in really good shape with all parts intact. It fits any Graco infant car seat in either the front or rear seat. I used it mainly in the mall with a few jaunts through the Arboretum. I'm willing to sell it for $50. It's navy and yellow - kind of a gingham pattern on the seats. I also have a Graco car seat base that I would throw in if you need that. I live in Plano just off the Bush turnpike. I have twins & used the Graco Duo Glider until they were 3. I am selling mine, it's gently used, and just needs to be cleaned up. There are some scratches on the front tray from assembling/disassembling the stroller. My asking price is $50. I also have a ton of boys baby clothes and some infant/toddler toys & would be willing to make you a deal on with the stroller. I just saw several earlier this week at Cutie Patootie Resale shop in Frisco on Main and Teel.
i have a graco douglide i was about to take to the 2nd hand store but you can certainly take a look at it first. i have a 1 year old and 2 year old and my 2 year old hates the stroller so i recently purchased a sit and stand. my double stroller is only 14 months old and in good condition. i live in plano but work in frisco on the weekends (plus i am always out and about). email me if you would like to see it.

Ive got twins and we used a graco double front/back stroller, but now that they are older I use a jeep double side by side stroller and I love it. Its alot lighter (which may be perferect for grandparents) and is nice for summer type of trips. I think they sell it at babies r us still, but Ive definitely seen some on craigslist cheaper, so I would just check there every now and then. : )
Since you can wait, you might check the upcoming consignment sales. I'm not sure if I can post a link, but Sweet Repeats at Trinity Presbyterian in McKinney is March 28. I also know of others. Good luck!
